Joseph was a member of the band XAVIER who in April 2019 placed 4th on the second season of the BBC's All Together Now. 

In 2019, Joseph took over from Matt Terry, as Alex the Lion in Dreamwork and Selladoor's UK Tour of Madagascar The Musical. Through COVID, Joseph worked as a school teacher for Edmund Waller Primary School in South East London. 

In 2022, Joseph embarked on the 20th Anniversary Tour of We Will Rock You, where he was nominated at the Broadway World Awards for Best Understudy/Alternate in a Musical.
