Jennie was Wardrobe Supervisor at Bristol Old Vic from 1984-1990. Since then, she has worked as a freelance costume supervisor for Lyric Opera Chicago (Orfeo and Iphigenie), Welsh National Opera (Eugene Onegin and Meistersinger), Scottish Opera (Two Widows), Great Expectations (Bristol Old Vic), Uncle Vanya and The Misanthrope (Bristol Old Vic and Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory), as well as commercial tours of An Inspector Calls, Aspects Of Love, Deathtrap, Sleuth, Le Liaisons Dangereuses and Radio Times.
One of her biggest contracts to date was the co-ordination of costumes for the opening of The Millennium Centre in Cardiff including a royal gala performance.
Together Jennie and Louise have supervised: UK Tours of Sister Act, Calamity Jane, Crazy For You and An Officer and a Gentleman (Jamie Wilson Productions); Jane Eyre (Bristol Old Vic and National Theatre UK Tour); The Rivals and Snow Queen (Bristol Old Vic); Hetty Feather (UK Tour, London and Rose Theatre Kingston); We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and Mr Poppers Penguins (Kenny Wax); Breakfast at Tiffanys (Curve Leicester and Colin Ingram); Legally Blonde (Curve Leicester, Korea and Monaco); Wars of the Roses, King John and Romeo and Juliet (The Rose Kingston); Adrian Mole (Menier Chocolate Factory and Ambassadors Theatre) and Big Fish (The Other Palace).
Together Jennie and Sarah have supervised: The Nutcracker (Bristol Old Vic) and Titanic the Musical (Danielle Tarento).
Most recently they have supervised: Christmas Carol (Bristol Old Vic); White Christmas (Leicester Curve and Jamie Wilson Productions Dominion Theatre); 9-5 at The Savoy Theatre London (ATG and Tour); On Your Feet (Jamie Wilson Productions), Pretty Woman at The Piccadilly and The Savoy (ATG Productions) and The Osmands (UK & Ireland Tour).
Together Jennie and Louise run Bristol Costume Services and The Costume Store, supplying costumes to theatre, film and Television.
